NEWS 8-4-10 SHOWS and ROCK CAMP and MERCH, OH MY! We have a full show schedule for the rest of the summer and into the fall, so check to see when we're playing near you! The month of July kept us busy with Rock Camp in East Lansing (MSU Community Music School) and Grand Rapids (St. Cecilia Music Center). The camps were a huge success and all the students rocked at their final concerts at Common Ground Festival and The Intersection! Plans are already underway for the next Rock Camps in both cities, so keep an eye on the ROCK CAMP page for updates. (Hint: there will be songwriting workshops for students in November and possibly an adult Rock League this fall too!) We're also busy cranking out some new merchandise for you. TOV slap bracelets have arrived and can be yours - get 'em either at a show or visit the STORE page! We're working on zip-up hoodies, a new girly tee, new 1" buttons, and new lighters. 6-1-10 SUMMER SUMMER SUMMERTIME Our summer is already in full swing - concerts each week, progress in the new recording studio, and two Rock Camps! There are a couple of upcoming highlights to keep in mind: this Friday, June 4, we perform at the annual Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts on the Clock Tower Stage at 9:00 P.M. This is a TOV performance you won't want to miss, but we're not allowed to say why... you'll just have to see for yourself! Also, we'll be on Grand Rapids WOODTV8's eightWest show on Monday, June 7 (aired at 11:00 A.M.) to promote our Grand Rapids Rock Camp, which will be held at the St. Cecilia Music Center July 19-24. The GR camp still has some openings, but the Michigan State University Community Music School Rock Camp (July 12-16) is FULL. There is a waiting list though, so there's still a chance to be a part of this summer's MSU CMS Rock Camp.
5-1-10 LANSING IMPACT On Thursday, May 6, we'll be hanging out at Michigan State University with the Impact 89 radio station crew. Tune in at 8:00 P.M. to listen to The Basement show - we'll be chatting with the DJs and performing some favorite TOV tunes, acoustic style! This is to help promote our upcoming show at The Loft in Lansing on Saturday, May 8. Music starts at 6:00 with special guests Syndicate, 10 to Impact, and Roll Over Radio. ALL AGES are welcome and tickets are only $5 in advance! Get 'em before they sell out. Our new recording studio is currently in the drywall phase. 3-20-10 SUMMER PLANS As we prepare for a full summer tour schedule, we're also keeping busy with several other projects. Our new recording studio is progressing nicely (drywall is next!), and we were chosen to record a song for National Stepfamily Day, which is almost finished. We're also working on the schedules for our upcoming summer Rock Camps. There will be two week-long camps this July - the first one in East Lansing at the MSU Community Music School, and the second one in Grand Rapids at St. Cecilia Music Center.
